About Conbu Interior Design

Angela Connolly, Founder & Principal Designer

Beautiful interiors require more than creativity — they require organisation, technical expertise and meticulous project management. That’s what sets Conbu Interior Design apart.

I founded Conbu Interior Design in 2007 after leaving a successful senior career in Corporate Relationship Management to pursue my lifelong passion for interior design. My commercial background, combined with a lifelong appreciation of art, design and craftsmanship, allows me to approach every project with both creativity and strategic thinking.

At Conbu Interior Design, I create bespoke interiors that are timeless, elegant and thoughtfully tailored to the people who live in them. From the initial design concept through to completion, every stage of the project is carefully managed to ensure a seamless experience, clear communication and exceptional attention to detail.

Over the years, I have built trusted relationships with Ireland’s leading suppliers, contractors and craftspeople, enabling me to deliver beautifully considered homes of the highest quality. Whether transforming a single room or managing a complete home renovation, my goal is to create interiors that are both beautiful and practical, enhancing the way my clients live every day.

I have also been privileged to contribute to Ireland’s interior design industry, serving on the committee of the Interiors Association for ten years, including six years as President (2014–2020), and as both Judge and Judge Coordinator for the Fit Out Awards from 2015 to 2023.

Today, Conbu Interior Design is proud to have been recognised with Best of Houzz 2026 for Service and shortlisted as a finalist in multiple Fit Out Awards categories. Every project is guided by the same philosophy: combining creative design with expert project management to deliver beautifully crafted interiors that stand the test of time.
